Re: Invitation to the Career Mentorship Program

On behalf of Society of Accountancy, Hong Kong Baptist University, we are delighted to inform you that the Career Mentorship Program 2007-2008 will be held by our society. It is our pleasure to invite you as our mentor of the Career Mentorship Program. The details are as follows:

It is our first time to organize a mentorship program. By implementing this program, it is hoped that it would broaden students’ perspective towards the world of business and the accounting industry, assist students to develop their career aspirations, as well as enhance the mutual understanding among students and various firms and institutes.

The role of mentors would be vital to the success of the program. We sincerely hope that mentors can contribute by:

  1. Attending the Opening Ceremony of the Career Mentorship Program on 19th October, 2007,
  2. Having a sustained regular contact with mentees through informal gatherings, telephone conversations or through e-mail,
  3. Sharing with mentees on some topics and experience about mentors’ profession, or any current business issues,
  4. Advising and discussing with mentees about their career development.

It would be our great honor to have you and/or your colleagues designate to be the mentors of the program. Your valuable consent to be a mentor is crucial to the success of the program.
